Has anyone had experience with this driver?
I WANT to do a dual woofer tower with these units and have tried at least 4 different "box designer" softwares. They all come up with different volumes, sizes, etc. What im leaning towards is a dual driver vented system based on the calculators from KBapps.com - Home Page. If i did everything correctly, they recommend a 3.41365 cu foot enclosure with these dimensions: Assuming .750 thickness of MDF H: 29.2 W: 18.1 D: 11.2 1 port at 3in x 1.2 or 2 ports at 3in x 2.7 inches which didnt make sense to me Driver Parameters: Poly treated paper cone Treated foam surround Stamped steel frame 1.18" voice coil 30oz. vented magnet Specifications:: Power Capacity: 50W/100W RMS/peak Sensitivity: 89dB (W/M) Impedance: 8ohm Re: 7.6ohm Le: 1.91mH Frequency response: 38Hz~3.5KHz Fs: 43Hz Qts: 0.44 Qes: 0.48 Qms: 5.0 Vas: 34 (liters) Xmax: 3.5mm Dimensions: Overall frame diameter: 8.19" Required cutout: 7.32" Mounting depth: 3.35" Please give me your ideas and or critiques/recommendations Thank You.... |
