Default woofer wont crossover high enough

They only go to 1000 hz before dropping off
These would be a better choice and at a descent price wire in parallel and 5 ohm load resistor and then crossed over around 3 khz or preferrably at 3.2 khz

3200Hz is definitely too high for the D5.8, and not a very good choice for D'apolito speaker either IMO.

D5.8 looks to have not very good frequency response, usable to about 1kHz for a 5.25" driver is not very promising. D6.8 looks much better in comparison.

Can you share any design details? simulated crossover, transfer function, etc? This would be more interesting than photos of coils of wire and piles of wood.

Textbook crossover at 3.2kHz is not going to be good.

I will say again, 3.2kHz is a bit too high for d'apolito, and a lot too high for D5.8

This speaker will make sound, that is all I would expect.
