I am about to start building enclosures for a ZRT 2-way tower system and would like to know how much area of the bracing shelves to remove. I think that four 70mm holes will have an area greater than the area of the driver cone, but is there any reason to make the holes larger? Also, is there any benefit in rounding off the hole edges, as I believe there is no actual movement of air through them?
