Default Scan Speak Revelator DIY speakers from Italy!

Hello, I’m Stefano from Italy, I’d like to introduce my new diy speakers, I used somethink from the “Ultimo” project (Scan Speak), as the speakers, the crossover scheme, the general buffle’s layout and the internal volume, than I changed the general construction scheme, the cabinet’s thickness (52mm on the buffle, walnut + mdf, 30mm on the other parts, mdf), the position of reflex (now in the bottom).
For the internal walls I used several products (plastic body for cars, a product called (Exacto Silent P), then natural wool and Dacron.
The sound is sweet (it would be appreciated a little bit more impact…but it is due to the rest of audio chain too), with a deep and present bass, a good detail and soundstage (deep and large), a realistic voice.
Unfortunately, as you can see from the pictures my listening room is at moment small and I can’t use a better position, the cdp is a Rega Jupiter with mainstream cable and the amplifier a MF A3.5, diy power cables made with VDH SCS 16 and 12, the sensitivity is not too high, I think no more than 86/87db.
Sorry for my bad English exposition, best regards and merry Christmas!

Very nice Stephano!! It never ceases to amaze me the level of skill in cabinet construction that others have Maybe one day I might be able to do something other than a standard butt joint rectangular box

No need to apologize for your English it's perfectly understandable

Tony.

Very good craftmanship! Curved panels aren`t that hard to make but have their contributions.
