Default Baffle Step with No Baffle

Any of you guys have a clue what is an effect of using No Baffle (magnet mounting) is to Baffle Step.

Edge does not simulate it properly. Would Baffle Step depend on how much of a driver is outside of membrane (if you know what I mean) ?

Very narrow baffle results in quite a peak at about 500hz wich is too high for me. I can stay with 18" wide baffle compromising precise imaging or mount speakers (Saba Alnico) by their magnets.

You may try an small octagon just enough to cover the size of driver.

EDGE can do this... Set # of corners to a high number (like 100), then you get a round baffle. Set the size to the same as the frame (or slightly larger), and driver size to the diameter of the cone.

Already did it, but when I drag the speaker out of the baffle results are different then when fit into very, very small baffle.
