Any of you guys have a clue what is an effect of using No Baffle (magnet mounting) is to Baffle Step.
Edge does not simulate it properly. Would Baffle Step depend on how much of a driver is outside of membrane (if you know what I mean) ? Very narrow baffle results in quite a peak at about 500hz wich is too high for me. I can stay with 18" wide baffle compromising precise imaging or mount speakers (Saba Alnico) by their magnets. |

EDGE can do this... Set # of corners to a high number (like 100), then you get a round baffle. Set the size to the same as the frame (or slightly larger), and driver size to the diameter of the cone.
