Default Sansui SP-X5U repair, or...?

Hope you guys can give me some advice. I bought some Sansui speakers back around 1991 and always liked the way they sounded. Recently the foam surround has worn out and I'm debating repairing them. Think it's worthwhile to fix them, or is it time to move on?

Specs for this 3-way are
6 1/2" woofer
5 1/4" carbon filled poly/butyl rubber surround/aluminum frame midrange
1" liquid cooled silk diaphragm dome tweet
Efficiency 88 db/W/m
75W RMS/225 Peak
Crossed over at 350Hz and 7kHz
Impedance is 6ohms and
Rated freq response is 45Hz - 23Khz (+-3db)

They're about 3 feet tall and weigh 33lbs a piece.

Thanks for your feedback!

A lot of those old Sansui were nice, I had a 2 way pair, but sadly one of the woofers died. I think it comes down to cost, you may be able to get better modern drivers for the cost of re-foaming...

That's the trouble... save some money and update to new woofers, or go through the pain of repair and preserve the mystique of 20+ year old speakers that sound great.
