In a more general tone,if what you mean that for the audiophile audio things must always be expensive,I don't think it is correct.Speaking of myself,my interconnects are expensive enough,my 12AX7's are quite expensive NOS,but my EL84's are either Sovtek or older low cost Russian Reflector.I have chosen all by listening to them in my system.My speaker cables on the other hand,are 12awg solid core mains cables,and I'm happy with them,after I have rejected much more expensive speaker cables.

The discussion was not about "God", but an analogy to the situation with "faith" in ones capacity to judge sound quality with their ears. Audio in that sense is a religion and this whole thread cannot be discussed with "religious" concepts.
