A lot of work has been done here on diyAudio on the reworking of the SEAS Thor, originally (mis-)designed by Joe d'Appolito.

Here is a list of threads to make it easier for people to find the information, Threads are in approximately reverse chronological orider.

The mother of all threads:

Scott compiles simulations of the variations:
Some Thor models to mull over

A compilation of all the drawings:

I'm sure there's a lot of confusion with all the different revisions of my crossover. Attached is the final version. Please use this one if you're not going with the stock crossover.

Thanx Jim... i'll update the 1st XO in the above doc to 4 ohms from 8||9. (there are some other cosmetics need fixing too).

I will also make a further note in the 2nd XO that it has been superceeded and there for historical purposes or as a reference for the intrepid souls who wish to further explore XO modifications.

The stock Thor cabinet really isn't what it should be. It's been ~4 years since the main Thor theads began, & I've revised many of my views since then -doesn't alter the fact that it can be substantially improved upon though.

Great Work guys: I sensitively ask .....you wouldn't consider doing the same for a MTM using a pair of Vifa P17WJ-00-08 in each cabinet? These cabinets look impressive and are a significant step up from the original plan. I'd appreciate it, but I guess hardly worth is as the drivers are no longer available..
