Default 2404H JBL tweeter added to La Scalas

My wife likes to cook alone so I always have to come up with something to occupy my time on Thanksgiving day. I looked on line for a design and pulled out the table saw and cut some little cabinets for these 2404h JBL tweeters that were in the basement and needed a project. I primed the MDF and then sprayed it with car undercoating to give it the speckled look and then painted gloss black over that this morning.

The tweeters are mounted up to the tweeter lugs on my klipsch La Scalas now and seem to sound pretty good if I dial them back a little with a 50H Dayton L- pad.

I was wondering if someone could check my wiring to see if it is right for speaker use. I followed the diagram on the side of the box so I guess its OKay. I'm a little more of a wood worker than a electrian. I have AL-3 crossovers in the La Scalas and have recently changed out the caps with a Bob Crites cap kit.

A couple sites on line suggest a crossover network just for this application and mount it right on the little cabinet where I've left room in the back. Does anyone have experience with using these tweeters with La Scalas and recommend a particular crossover other than the AL-3 stock cap set up?

Two more photos. I have the T35s disconnected all together of course. I have my speakers running on a Dynaco ST70 with tubes for hifi mod and a precision fidelity C7 and Technics sl1800mk2 turntable with Sure v15 mkIII cart and Jico SAS needle.
