Hey.
I have a pair of Sanyo SX-892's that badly need rewiring. They are in sealed cabinets. Is it safe to open these and what would be the best way to do this? Thanks, Jake. |

If the cabinets do not have exposed fasteners try pulling the drivers. Exactly what do you mean they need rewiring?

How do you know they need rewiring if you have never seen inside?

Cal Weldon: The speakers grills arnt removable. Though with some gentle(ish) pray iv removed them and have access to the inside.
Richie00boy: There is no banana sockets or speaker clips. The damaged, thin cable exits from a hole in the back of the cabinet. These speakers definitely low end. Thanks for your help. |

Maybe if you cut a hole in the back for a terminal plate (vacuum the dust out of the box after) then you can get good enough access (and the damaged wire is not too far in) to put the wires onto the terminal plate?
