Ok...Consider this....a pair of active bass bin/stands with response from 30-100hz topped with a passive MT using Seas Ca18rly/27tdfc sealed with and F3 of 70hz. HT/Music use so some dynamics involved.
Couple of options.......Use AVR filter functions at 80-100hz and send mono signal to bass bins/subs, Send Bass Bins full range signal from AVR L/R pre-outs and use plate amp 2nd order LP and speaker level inputs to MT's no filter OR use speaker level inputs to bass bin plate amp and speaker level outputs on plate amp to drive mains.....the latter two options resulting in true stereo seperation to 30hz. |

Not sure there's any stereo information recorded below70Hz but we're purists so stereo it is
![]() Assuming these speakers have perfectly flat response to their limits then roll off as 2nd order bandpass (theoretical - right ) you'll need some XO function to integrate them properly.Without test gear you're guessing so, line level AVR pre-outs to the bass plate amps, tweak the plate amps XO point & level until it makes the hairs on the back of your neck tingle.

This one and set the plate amp to get a good blend with your mid/tops. All the other ways will screw up the blend.
Send Bass Bins full range signal from AVR L/R pre-outs and use plate amp 2nd order LP and speaker level inputs to MT's no filter.
