I'm not sure whether to call this "favorite speakers" or "speakers I wish I'd designed." Either way, my personal (partial) list feels like an expression of my speaker building goals and priorities, and it strikes me that it would be interesting to hear from others. I'm thinking of speakers being judged in the context of the time in which they were introduced. Here are some of my favorites---speakers designed by guys for whom I'd like to buy a beer and with whom I'd like to exchange ideas. Other contributions to the list?
