Default Decent 3 way speaker kit for noob

Hi All,

New to this board. I'm looking to build a pair of 3 way speakers for my stereo. I have an old Yamaha M-60 amp (325w RMS per channel). I had a pair of EPI 500 speakers way back when and really liked the big sound. I have a budget of about $400 - $500 for the parts (less cabinet). Is there a decent kit out there that might fit my needs.

Thanx

Clyde

I do think that money is a little light on, why not buy a 2-way kit and a small powered subwoofer, easier and perhaps cheaper.

Default Buy Used

In that price range you will clearly be better off buying used speakers. The JBL 4410A, 4412A, L100T3 and L7 (a four-way) can be found in that range. You cannot buy components and build equal quality for that money.
