Default Can you tell me more about this FONOVOX speaker ??

Picked up this pair for a few bucks from a garage sale. They look as if they were built by a 9 year old in a hurry

Still, I was surprised that I liked the sound, even if a bit bass-light. A Google search didn't turn up much, except an old record label.

All I can find on the box is a small sticker with the technical specifications:

Fonovox Sound Corporation
Montreal
40Hz to 18.5kHz
6W, 8 Ohms

and "F 5152"

Nice find, looks like they are from the early to mid 1960's. That freq response is very optimistic, I think
Our man Dave might know all about them.
