Call me crazy but I've always like hearing a bit of spatial "sloppiness" in
my stereo image -- if I can get it. NO -- not the Bose 901 -- but a touch of reflection, done tastefully. (and NOT 5.1 audio either). I'm tempted to look at some bipole designs but was wondering if some projects have shown up here with this in mind. A precise stereo image is something that I think is over-rated (imho) -- all of this concentration on time alignment and phase to me has a very clinical sound to it. Any good projects out there like this? |
