Hi
I have been offered a pair of Spendor A5 speaker cabinets without drivers for £120. Firstly, do you think this would be a good investment and if so, could anyone recommend some drivers that would compliment the cabinet design? Thanks Ol |

as a starting point, I'd look at the appropriate size drivers from SEAS, SB, & Scanspeak and model them in WINISD to see if they're usable with the internal volume of those cabinets.

Have a look at these designers, and find a project that uses drivers of the same external diameter (important, as they are flush mounted) and similar internal volume (less important, as you can alter the tuning by changing port lengths). Driver placement should also be considered for ultimate performance.

You will need to check into driver diameters on their manufacturers websites.
