B&W DM602 S3 Kevlar driver

Hi,

It was a disaster that my kid tear down the 180mm driver of the left unit.

1, Where can I get the replacement in the asia region? what is the model no?

2. what equivalent can I get ?

Based on what I know of B&W's speakers and what I learned when I took apart one of my roommate's 602 the other week, I don't think it would be practical to try to find an aftermarket replacement woofer. Sound quality issues aside, they mount using very proprietary hardware and I doubt you could find a diy speaker that would fit in there and seal up well (though I could be wrong)

Can you contact B&W and ask them to recommend a local supplier? If you could get the right part, changing it out should be very easy

I also recommend to use the original B&W driver, but you could also watch on e*bay auctions, as the original part could be expensive. AFAIK the 602 S3 share the same driver as the 604 S3. I don't know if it is the same as earlier versions (S2, S1), but I doubt.
