Hi guys, I've been playing around with winisd and have found that my sub driver which is desinged for closed box gives much better response plot in vented box. Can I put it in vented box, what are downers of doing this.

I can tell you from personal experience that my experiment with this worked out very well for a HT sub I built recently. Winisd recommended closed with an EBP of just under 50. I modeled clamshell isobaric with ports and liked the response curve much better. The test enclosure sounds excellent.
