Default Stabbed a rubber surround. Anyone know where I could get some TangBang speakers?

Hi,

I was finally assembly a set of Spires, and when I was putting the last driver in, the damn screwdriver slipped and now I have a nice gash in the rubber surround. I can try to fix it, but they are pretty cheap drivers, so if they are still made I'm thinking I'll just get a new one.

Anyone know where I could get one in Canada? I'm looking for a W3-319S1 a full range paper cone 3" driver.

Thanks!!

bummer... been there done that though mine was a $180 driver. I ended up repairing it with some selleys flexible super glue.

Sorry I don't know of any source of the drivers, but know the feeling!

Tony.

Some insects had eaten through the rubber surround on a non-replaceable woofer (cheap mass market product, no spares or part numbers) I had. A bit of black electrical tape, three layers of it was taped over the holes - you couldn't visually tell the difference, and they worked fine.

Rubber cement also works very well on rubber surrounds, and the repair is mostly invisible if you got a grill on it.
