Default Best speakers to go with a turntable

Hi! First of all, excuse my English as I'm from Argentina..

I've just acquired a Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 2000, which comes with a built in 2 x 25 watts RMS stereo amplifier

Without having much of an idea about speakers, I was thinking of getting a pair of Klipsch RB-51 (about $500 in my country), but my father assures me that some Technics SB Lx70 (about $260) would be enough..

I'd like to know your opinion about them, or what other option would you choose.

Any suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks

I'm not really a fan of the smaller, newer Klipsch speakers - the older Heritage lines, on the other hand, would be perfect with your power available, more sensitive If you like that sound, a pair of Fortes or Cornwalls would rock with not a lot of power, I had a pair of Forte IIs that filled the room off of 8 watts.

If you can afford them, a pair of old-school Klipsches can do a lot with very little power. If not, you can build some knock-offs with equal or better performance for not a lot of money, though the bass horns can be very complicated to build.

Any model in particular?

Just to clarify, they would be used for 70's psychodelic/progressive rock only...
