Ebay the kid?

Uncrumpling dust covers ain't happening... they need replacement. Or removal and add a phase plug.

Cheers!

This has been covered before. Hopefully there's no coil/former/cone damage. The best thing to do is suck them out carefully, there are various methods for this, some very undignified. Failing that, you can pull them out by poking a hole and inserting a small hook of paperclip or hanger or whatever, and reforming them from the inside. You then patch the hole with toilet tissue (or a rolling paper) and some pva (modge podge/white glue). Also good to coat the dustcap with the same at that time.

Also this is correct most of the time there are, depending of the material and rigidness of the dustcap and construction of the driver, a few things one can try.
  • if the drivers are vented through the middle of the pole piece You could, depending of the hole diameter of this vent, insert something (non magnetic) into it and try to push the dustcap outside

  • or You could blow some pressurized air through the pole piece vent. Of course during this procedure You have to fasten the position of the cone to avoid "flying diaphragms".

  • in case the driver doesn`t have a vented pole piece You can stick a small (sewing) needle into the dustcap, move it sideways and try to pull it out. Sometimes this works quite well, maybe there are some wrinkles left but those usually look better than a big dent
