Hi everyone, I am looking for the ultimate bassmid to use in a MTM configuration with a Raven R3 (or possibly MMTMM).
The driver should be 8 ohm, 6-7" and any enclosure type is fine (reflex, sealed or TM). The crossover points will probably be 80 Hz and 1-2 kHz (3rd or 4th order) Which drivers should I look at? I've been out of the DIY game for 10 years and I'm sure a few things have changed since then. The Scan Speak 18WU/8741T00 looks quite interesting but I can't find any user feedback. And what ever happened to their carbon fibre/paper domes? I once used those and liked them. |
