Default ScanSpeak Discovery midwoofers

Anyone tried out any of the new ScanSpeak Discovery midwoofers ?

The specs and data look particularly promising.
Eg. the long throw 6.5" version: http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/18w-8434g00.pdf

Chris.

from the frequency curve, it looks more like a Vifa driver..

could be very interesting...

wonder if we ever see them down here :-(

I have been looking at them for some time
I found one of the 5.5" interesting

But with the resolution on those graphs its really hard to judge them

Theres a very cheap 3.5" Vifa, fullrange
Could be a nice MTM driver
It even has a copper cap on pole piece
2gr mms

Omnes has some new midwoofers too, but no response graphs, so its a no buy for me

And theres the small 4" SBAcoustic

btw, I have a pair of 2" TB alu tweeters
They could be crossed around 1khz, and might be perfect for the new ScSp Discovery

BMM electronics have the new Discovery units listed.

Not all of them seem to be in stock, but the prices are there.. and they are not bad!

Will be interresting to hear the first reports on these drivers!
