Default What makes a driver 'TL-able'?

Hi all,
With so many conflicting opinions/Theories on the subject, I figure I might pop the question and watch the feathers fly!

It seems to me that alot of people seem to be shifting toward Transmission lines now days for obvious reasons. There is a lot of info out there on TL theory, but....................What makes a good TL candidate, driver wise?

Is it still a case of feeding each particular driver into mathcad, or is there a quick way to tell just quickly checking the drivers specs?

If you have an opinion regarding this seemingly huge grey area put your two cents in!!!!!

If you've built a TL design in the past, good or bad, what made it so?

Step right up!.....Step right up!

'obvious reasons' - what are they?
following MJKs work, I'd say that any driver suitable for BR is also suitable for TL...?

PeteMcK,

'Obvious reasons', means to me, I liked what I heard, put simply.....(LSK TL6).
Its the only one i've heard, and I have heard these drivers in other aplications,
I prefered the sound of these to others. Although 'Obvious reasons', to someone else might mean something entirely different.

Although I have heard similar sized mtm BRs using similar sized drivers that also sounded amazing (Krix Lyrics, come to mind).

Have you heard others and found them 'wanting'?

Thanx for your input here, keep it coming!

Mick.
