Using the pictures and specifications from the website, I "think" the drivers are:

Scan Speak R2904 http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/r2904_700009.htm

I know the tweeter uses a different phase plug and the all drivers have some minor custom modifications, but really the stock drivers would be pretty close.

Using the same cabinet dimensions 1120 x 350 x 565 mm (HxWxD).

For the crossover the DEQX PDC-2.6 HD processor / active crossover http://www.deqx.com/products3.php

What you guys think? Can it be done?

Would land up with a pretty accurate cremona clone yeah?

the tweeter is a vifa xt25, as far as I know

You would be better of with a Marchand XM-44,

Incredible performance, I used them with $11K Shahinian Hawks, so don't think this isn't a good product. Those DEOX processors are very expensive, you would also be better of buying a used pair of Cremona's off of Audiogon.

I'm also a hobbyist, and have been building high-end for 17 years, and have used Marchand crossovers for many projects.

How do you measure to find out the best crossover points? The DEQX comes with the mic and software etc.

You need to start with some good simulation software. What you are trying to do will take some real work.

You need to start reading books from the library on the speaker building. Then you needs some good software (Lspcad, Leap, ect), or you can pay someone to design the crossover, but that will not get you the results you need unless you hired a professional. Some of the driver retailers do crossover design, but the cremona has a very, very well designed filter network in it.
