Great driver on the paper and great price too
An excellent midrange in a three way system. It could be my next midrange on my open baffle. I'd like the cone black rather silver.

I'd also like too see 7", 8", 10" driver ? with similar performances and prices. I can dream a little...

Well that's going to be popular almost SEAS Excel performance for 1/4 the price.

Impressive looking Excel-style speaker, and boy howdy, is the price ever right.

The breakup is no joke, I'd want to cross these low and hard. You can see the breakup excitation in the HD sweeps starting at 1800Hz. They'd probably make very good small-format woofers in pairs, the high Re and low distortion in the bass should allow some pretty good performance.

Nice work John!

It's darned close. To my way of thinking, it's largely a clone. Not that there's anything wrong with that. There doesn't seem to be much to distinguish it from the Excel. Opposed Tinsel leads, maybe another trick or two.

But, it's WAY cheaper.

That's pretty valuable on its own. Not any sort of advancement in driver technology, but still a cool and VERY reasonably priced product.

The frame is different from the SEAS units. The SEAS frame is a little bit more open at the rear. The frame is indeed similar as the MCM model.

it seems like our friend Zaph have a winner here. Nice specs, good looks, Nice price. Very interesting.
