Question CrossOver for Mini AutoGraph Single Drive

Dear all,

I got a repaired drive which is taken out from a mini-autograph. I would like to use it as my HT center speaker. Have a couple of questions to seek for all your advise:-
1) Can I simply connect my speaker cable to the + and - metal plate behind the drive ? (as I plan to use this drive with any woodern cabin)..
2) Someone suggest me to add a 3.3fu foil connected between the HF + and the LF + and simply connect the speaker cable to the power amp... does it work ?

Any other advise on connecting this ??

Many thanks.
Henry

it seems that these used a 1st order HP filter, so what you propose should work; you may have to add a resistor in series with the tweeter if it is too loud compared with the mid-woofer though...
