Hi folks,
I have a pair of Goodmans Mezzo SL speakers. They are in excellent working condition, but someone has applied a layer of MacTac (sp?) plastic woodgrain over them. It appears that they were originally white lacquer sprayed over particle board, and the only information that I can find on the web is an article describing them as "available in white".
What I am hoping for is that someone has a pair with the original white finish and can take a photo of the finish (or can describe it accurately) so that I can see what the "texture" of the surface is. I'd like to bring these back to OEM condition, and with the resources of a cabinet shop at my disposal, getting them to that state should be easy once I know what that OEM finish looks like.
cheers and thank you
John
