Default Peak decibel at resonance

Hi everyone;

In regards to a vented box volume design, what would be a
perfect value for Peak decibel at resonance (Peak db).

Eg would 0.098917 be too low ?

Would 1.2865 be too high ?

thanks
Steve

0.098916?...

I don't think the value itself is useful, it needs be be considered with other factors:
Personal preference,
Width of the resonance - too narrow and you'll get the one note bass effect,
Freq it is centred on - if it's low enough may give a solid feel to kick drum, but too high & the sound will be muddy,

Width & peak combine to make the Qt value, that's why it's a useful number

Give us some context.

IMO, "peak decibel at resonance" (whatever that really means) should be less than zero. Consider a B4 vented box, the summed output at Fb, the box resonance, is -3dB relative to midband.
