Im wondering which high efficiency coax is best with a price tag of.... lets say.... 1000 usd a pair?
Preferable 10 incher or larger... Any suggestions? |

Best is hard to say, and a matter of taste.
Squeeking in just at your budget limit, I"m very fond of the PAudio BM18CX38. It's a hell of a driver. Life size music comes out of this one.

Michael, do you anything about these 12" units, the 212-8A? Gives you the option of adding bass units later if needed and maybe just some EQ in the meantime. I think the 604's are a bit pricey.

Didnt hear it, but it was measured in a magazine and looks very good on paper: Beyma 15XA38Nd

what sort of range of sensitivity are you looking for?
I guess you will use 8ohm impedance.
