Hi all,
I have two pairs of Vifa TC18WG49 midbasses. I had built a pair of MTM floorstanders with them and Vifa D27 fabric dome tweeters. Now, I have two pairs of Indian made Peerless drivers which I use in the old box. Will the TC18s be good for a pair of bookshelves for HT (fronts and centre)? How good is the TC18 when it comes to midrange? Regards, Vivek.

I have some infinity buyouts from Parts express 299-493 IIRC
....yep, they still have a page: http://www.parts-express.com//pe/psh...number=299-493 These are pretty good for the $14 I paid. They have a double peak at 4k and a small one a few db down at 5500. As long as you aren't taking them up too high I think they sound fine. The quality of sound you get from them really depends a lot on execution.

Hi,
The crossover frequency I plan cross it over will probably be in the 2.7KHz range.
