Boston Acoustics T830 Tower speakers

Hi , I came across these for $35 ,did not buy them yet . I had a pair of B.A's before and I quite liked them. My EX got my whole stereo system, God I really miss my old system

. Well anyways the T830's subs need refoaming.I've never done it before ,but I'm willing to try.Does anyone have an opinion on these speakers,are the worth the effort?Does anyone know the spec's? Any info would be helpful .

I don't know the model, but probably worth it. Check the lansing heritage forums for a really good refoam tutorial.

I believe these were highly reviewed ~20 years ago.
re-surrounding is easy, but fiddly and time consuming.

I also saw a pair of B&W BM 16's for sale .Are these a better choice? They look in pretty good shape ,in need of new covers .
