What was ripped of from KEF?... they have had some high profile brand name designers come and go, both bringing ideas as well as taking maybe.
No, they will not sell it. They will showcase it all over the globe and derive products I guess. They must have learned from others.
Everything they developed out of scratch they published on ''Keftopics'' back in the 70s.
The target function approach, the 105 concept and its production method, laid base and got blatantly copied to make some highly acclaimed ''monitor'' and its manufacturer famous back then.

This "sentence" seems a bit cryptic, not sure what you are saying here.

My friend asked me to re-veneer his old Kef 103/3 monitor speakers. I've never seen Kef inside but hmmm this thing must have taken months and months of developement. Independent midrange driver mounting with a steel rod , crossover with dozens elements and bass EQ. I have no idea how that thing sounds but engineering input is impressive.

Lucky... you actually were able to listen to a KEF blade. Must be a story there.

"as any designer will confirm, “what looks right, usually is.”
watch the video in the KEF link above ...the new "uniQ" coax driver with 3" VC looks pretty impressive indeed. Certainly high SPL is assured with that thing.
Not much of a story; I was at the High End 2009 in Munich and they were playing all day long every day of the show. A bit too bright nearfield, but just about right at >15m listening distance
