Default Placing reflex port in New Vifa Tower

Hello, I'm going to build a pair of New Vifa Tower by MurphyBlaster Production and I want to ask you what differences will be in listening putting the reflex port in the rear or in the front of the cabinet, and next to the floor or next to the the woofer.
What can it be the effects on the response changing the position of the port within these limits?
Many thanks:-)

If they are in a corner, a rear mounted port can increase it's apparent output. Same with front mounted if it's at floor level. It's hard for us to tell you what the best is.

I prefer the port to be on the front, but away from the floor - even though I like lots of bass, I prefer the sound to be coloured by the room as little as possible...

My personal preference is to put them out of sight on the rear, as I don't like to see them and I imagine hearing midrange coming from them.
