I have a real noobie question. When I open up the cross over network, I can see 2 large inductor and 1 electrolytic can (saying 6uF) and the other PP cap (605J).
1 how do I measure the 2 large inductor. Can I just insert the multimeter at the 2 terminal and use it to purchase a new foil inductor with the same measured value ? 2. How do I measured the capacitance? Is it necessary to remove the capacitor and measure ? Do I purchase capacitor based on the measure value or based on the value printed on the cap? |
