Hello,
I am trying to adapt the Proac 2.5 clone into a centre speaker. Suposing you do not need shielded drivers, that is, you can use the same drivers the 2.5 clones, what adaptations are needed ? Can the same xover and drivers be used , taking in consideration that the volume and shape of this centre speaker will change ? What geometry do you recomend ? Did someone do something like this before? Should there be 1 woofer and 1 tweeter, and if so, how should they be placed ? There are some plans on the audioclone site : http://audioclone.free.fr./proac2.5center.JPG But this uses a diferent tweeter because of the shielded versions needed. I dont need shield drivers so i think ill use the same. Also i think this speaker is too small....the CC2 is 71cm wide ! |
