hi to all
im newbie here. can i connect a 22uf 50v capacitor in a 250 to 500 watts midrange speakers? and 3.3uf 50v in a 300 watts horn tweeter? both speakers are in monitor enclosure box. connected in parallel connection. what are the purpose of this caps. is this safe? and does not affect performance? what would be the ideal value of capacitor to be connected for both speakers. with regards to safety of performance thank you very much. |

The caps are there to limit the low freq excursion of the drivers.
The voltage rating is too low for those power levels, use ohms law to work it out.
