Thumbs up Wharfedale Airedales - eBay

I have a pair of these knockout speakers made about 1966. There's a pair on eBay (a little later than mine) and IMHO they are easily the equal of Ditton 66's and Tannoy Lancasters, exceeded only by Tannoy Corner Horn GRF signatures. The Airedales are wondrous sensitive and will blow your ears off with a mere 10W drive. I use a a Quad 33/303/FM2 or 3, or a Leak Stereofetic/Stereo 70 to drive them.

I'm NOT the vendor and have no commercial axe to grind. All welcome to contact me if further info is wanted on these wonderful units.

Downside - size, and the auction ends tomorrow.
