Hello,
I have a pair of Proac Response 2s speakers. I am happy with them although i find some areas of improvement . I find some lack of upper bass/lower midrange in most recordings, and a litle bright in some high frequencies . I like other thing in them altough, the wind instruments, the violins and guitars, the crystal voices.... I have been wondering for some time if a solution to my problem would be building the Proac 2.5 clones. Would i get the same level of sound purity as in these original 2s ? Would they have that "Proac magic" ? Or is it to much to hope for, for just a $500-$1000 dollar speaker project? The original cost $4500....they have to be better than my 2s...but what about the clones ? Bottom line : i have a pair of Response 2s....are the clones a better speaker ??? |
