Default JBL L80T bass speaker replacement

Hi all,

I have a pair of JBL L80T speakers that need new bass driver units fitted to both as the rubber cone support around the perimeter has disintegrated!

Can anyone recommend a uk supplier and a good replacement speaker unit. These bass units measure about 250-260mm diameter (I guess they are 10" units!)

Thank you in anticipation

Michael

Can you not just get a surround kit? Google JBL UK and see if you can find something.

They're not terribly difficult to replace on your own either, if you want. There's kits available. Check out lansing heritage, they have a sticky thread on the 'right' way to refoam.

Like those guys said... refoam. If you decide not to, don't toss the JBL drivers, send them to me

These might not be factory surrounds but they will get you going...

I don't think JBL sells original surrounds without a full recone kit.
