Which tweeter wille be able to go very low with XO point.
xt25 in 12in waveguide experiment XT25 generally has quite bad THD results, but in this experiment it is much better. Had someone tried making very low XO point with waveguide? |

There have been several attempts to do that. See for example Zaph's Waveguide project for a start:
http://www.zaphaudio.com/Waveguidetmm.html or Joe Rasmunssen Elsinores(which went from Vifa Xt25 to Peerless HDS): The "Elsinore Project" Thread Basically, you can try a waveguide with pretty much any tweeter - but it has to have at least acceptable low distortion at the bottom end. I have tried it myself with XT25, but ended up preferring the sound without the waveguide(and higher crossover point, currently 2.5 kHz LR2): it was not a thorough test and I might have just not gone far enough to do it right, but I have found the sound without the waveguide more natural and dynamic. Maybe one day I'll give it another try.
