Default First time modeling a vented box

Hi,

I wish to have 2 Pioneer A30IR50-51F 12" in a ~110L vented floorstander.
Used the PE measured T/S specs into Unibox.. Tuned for 30Hz, it produced F3 of 37.67Hz.
Port is 25cm long and 11.61cm in diameter, with 105Watt maximum power.

Very simple, but I've never done this, so please I would be happy for approval.

Also, what are the limits of box tuning?
Is it better to push more bass into a sealed box then use vented (provide I have enough headroom and Xmax to spare for my listening levels)

Many thanks
Adam

Check the air velocity in the port. Size the port cross-sectional area such that the peak velocity is 15 m/s or less at peak power (if you radius the port openings you can allow higher velocities).
