Direct (or almost direct) replacement for Morel MW144?

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since my last post here.
A few years back I built these 2-way ported enclosures using the Morel MW144 and MDT32 drivers (will post xover and enclosure details if needed). Yesterday, because of a malfunctioning amp, I burned one of the woofers. Since I'm not very happy with the sound, I was thinking about changing the drivers with something with close specs which will match the enclosure (both physically and spec-wise) and would require little modifications to the XO. Lower price also a big plus (at $100 the Morels are not on the cheap side for a poly 5'' mid-bass). Maybe Hi-Vi? Any other suggestions?
