They released a 9" version now? it's more voice coil than cone
Could work as a subwoofer or a woofer in a 3 way crossed low but the response looks too ragged for any 2 way setup. A sealed EQ'ed sub could work well with it's huge power handling. No doubt very expensive as it's larger brothers are. Is there some reason why large voicecoil drivers often give poor upper range performance? At least, I've generally found that to be the case. The extra coil mass would be a factor I guess... EDIT: Noticed it's listed as a subwoofer anyhow, fair play! |
