Red face ANY HELP APPRECIATED with P17WJ00 / MDT33

I posted in several forums today about a proven design.....no luck anywhere. Second best....any suggestions on a design? These are said to be some of the better speaker drivers made. Was wondering if anybody might be able to give me some pointers on a crossover network with these 2 drivers. possibly some enclosure designs as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
THANKS TO ALL,
JEFF

Default If I am correct madisound carries both of those

and if that is the case the can design the crossover and the box for the best results. I would suggest a WTW design should you happen to have 4 of them or another woofer choice is
http://www.madisound.com/catalog/pro...roducts_id=847 they will make it come out with the best response looking at the spechs with those two in a WTW combination it will be one set of killer speakers. I wish I could go that route

for the speaker design why not look at the "coffee, a blowtorch and TQWP's" thread.
coffee, a blowtorch and TQWP's

the P17 should be relatively easy to combine with that tweeter with a simple series x-o, and the pipe were design using the P17.

Lots of questions about those woofers in last few days.

What to do with some older drivers lying around? Vifas...

Default ANY HELP APPRECIATED with P17WJ00 / MDT33

I have 2 of the P17WJ's only....but I also have a pair of P17SJ's as well. Basically, as far as I can tell these are the closest thing to a shielded version of the P17WJ's but the T/S parameters are slightly different. I wonder if even with this slight difference they could be used in a WTW? Any thoughts on this....a P17SJ / MDT55 / P17WJ WTW?!?!
Thanks,
Jeff
P.S. Anybody got an extra set of used P17WJ's for sale or will trade for a pair P17SJ's?

No,

But I have a pair of P17SJ's. Perhaps going all shielded?
