Default Experience with Alian 2140 drivers?

Anyone here with experience with these drivers?

VERY pricey, but I've been told they are similar to the PHL 1120, with more "warmth" and a "less clinical" signature.

Considering them for a three way with Raal ribbon or Beyma on top and 12 underneath.

At almost $3000 a pair, that would buy you PHLs and a tube amp to warm them.
