I'm going to be building a 60 watt chipamp and will need to build some speakers to go along with it.

I'm looking for a nice set up. Size doesn't matter too much, but less than two feet tall would be good I guess. Basically I want a set that I can really pump some sound through and will have good kick and good performance for rock mostly.

Any ideas?

Recession buster is a great place to start.

Nick Brewer on the PE forum is making cabinets for them for a steal. Even applys veneer.

Danish oil to finish $10

You are just over $200 for some nice speakers with minimal work.
