Trends in Loudspeaker Cabinet

Lately i saw more and more speaker company launching their flagship products with a wide cabinets.

And more and more speaker made from solid wood was launch also, specially from japan, china and italy.

Oak Wood, seems quite famous in japan.

Do u think they did this for sonics purposes or just for aestethics?

47 Lab Kotaro, which i think use similar driver as Venture
