Does anybody know what T-S data the woofer in this speaker has. I am impressed by the bas volume this miniature speaker produces? Or maybe just a type name of the woofer, so that I can surge for it.
mabye some one knows what system Q this speaker has? And the volume in the box? Nice and relatively cheap little speaker for small rooms. |

I'm also a fan of the ATC sealed box speakers. I've read about them a fair bit and listened to the SCM19 and SCM12, but didn't get a chance to have a real close look at the woofers. From what I've read tho, I think that they're a very unique driver with a mid range driver built right in. they call it "125mm ATC mid/bass unit with integral soft dome "
I've also read it described as "Bass and mid-range frequencies are reproduced by a hand-built driver that comprises a 75mm (three inch) mid-range soft dome mechanically coupled onto a 150mm (six inch) bass cone." I don't know how this works but I'd love to have a real close look! So bad news is I think that this mid / woofer is not available to purchase seperately, but I could be wrong... |
