Snell A3i Woofer Replacement - Help Needed

What was supposed to have been a replacement of the foam surrounds, turned out to be a serious repair of the right woofer.

So now a replacement of both woofers seems to be a better idea.

Has anyone tried this with succes?

We have found the T/S parameters of the RCF L12P48 12" driver at: http://www.thielesmall.com/database.asp#

Fs = 19.5 Hz
Qes = 0.45
Qms = 10
Qts = 0.43
Vas = 270 L
Re = 5 Ohm

If those specs are fore real

I doubt you will find any

though, SBAcoustic 12" is pretty close

A repair could seem like the best way, but I doubt it will maintain those specs after repair...could end up being way off

Do you still have the woofers? In which conditions they are?

Hi,
The RCF woofers are in a pair of Snell A3i, belonging to an audio-acquaint here in Copenhagen, who had a problem with one of them. He send the L12P48 unit to repair, and I havenÂ´t spoken to him since, so I guess his Snell's are working again.
